Margaret Rhett received her BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she
studied painting and printmaking. She has worked in newspaper preservation on both the
Virginia and North Carolina Newspaper Projects, as well as fieldwork in Virginia
archaeology. She lives and paints in Chester, VA.
